Quality childcare is dependent on quality staff and all our staff hold relevant childcare qualifications. They are selected for their knowledge, experience, commitment and the enthusiasm they can bring to our nursery and our children.
We pride ourselves on having staff who are totally committed to continuity of care for our children. Many of our staff have been with us for over ten years. Staff qualifications range from Level 2 through to Level 6 and Early Years Teacher status.
We also have a trained SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and practitioners trained in Makaton sign language.
Our co-managers Sarah Leadill and Zoe Townsend are both level 3 qualified, with Sarah working at nursery for over 20 years and Zoe joining us in February 2025.

Our wonderful cook is Lindsay Gardner.
We also have a Key Person system at our nursery. Each child has one member of staff who will take particular care of each child's day to day needs. They will get to know your child well and understand their likes, dislikes and developing character. They will be your main contact in respect of your child's time with us and will help them to settle in to the nursery routines.
Staff training is embedded in our practice and is ongoing for all staff members including management. We ensure that all our staff are kept up-to-date with the latest best practice and with any new innovations in Early Years education.
